HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

🩺 Registered Nurse – Endoscopy
📍 Akron, OH
13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 09/22/2026

Shift: Day – 5x8 Hour Shifts

• Shift times may vary: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (final schedule discussed during interview)
• No scheduled weekends unless called in
• On-call required
• Potential Labor Day call coverage

🏥 Unit Details:

Endoscopy Unit

📋 Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at submission
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Endoscopy experience prior to travel assignments required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required

Preferred:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• GI procedure and conscious sedation experience

🩺 Required Skills:

• Endoscopy nursing experience
• Pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care
• IV starts and vascular access management

• Moderate (conscious) sedation monitoring
• Patient assessment and recovery monitoring
• Emergency response during endoscopic procedures

• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination
• Accurate clinical documentation

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Prepare patients before procedures and monitor them throughout the procedure

• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
• Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation

• Provide post-procedure recovery care and patient education
• Respond to emergencies and support physicians during procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in the required on-call rotation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
