Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive on-site and remote support for end-user computing requests; configure and maintain laptops/desktops/tablets, peripherals, and standard applications for office, hybrid, and field users.
  • Manage a ticketing queue; document troubleshooting, resolutions, and user communications clearly; meet service-level expectations and escalate effectively.
  • Support Microsoft 365 and collaboration services (e.g., Outlook, OneDrive/SharePoint, Teams, Meetings).
  • Assist with endpoint provisioning and lifecycle management (deployments, refreshes, patching, application installs, configuration baselines) and help enforce device compliance and secure configuration standards.
  • Support identity and access workflows including account setup, access troubleshooting, and multi-factor authentication (MFA); follow established least privilege and security procedures.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues (wired, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS/DHCP fundamentals) and coordinate with network/security teams and vendors for timely resolution.
  • Support printers/scanners/copiers/plotters and large-format printing needs common in engineering project delivery; manage drivers, queues, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support conference rooms and audiovisual systems (including Teams-based meeting spaces) and provide on-demand meeting support as needed.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and travel to other Carollo offices to provide support (up to 35% of time), including regional end-user support for other locations.
  • Assist with laptop imaging and deployment buildings using SCCM or Windows Autopilot.

Qualifications
  • 2 - 4+ years of professional experience in IT support.
  • Advanced knowledge of PC hardware/software principles and operating systems such as Windows 11 and Mac OS.
  • Experience with engineering, CAD, modeling, and graphics software applications and tools (e.g., Bentley ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Autodesk, MicroStation, SketchUp, Adobe) a significant plus.
  • Experience with IT service management practices and ticketing tools (incident/request workflows, prioritization, SLAs) a plus.
  • Experience with modern endpoint management (SCCM/MECM and/or Intune), device provisioning, and compliance-based access a plus.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, including meeting troubleshooting; familiarity with Teams Rooms or conference room systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Yealink Teams Rooms a plus.
  • Experience with Verkada or similar physical security systems (e.g., access control, cameras/CCTV, door controllers) a plus.
  • Experience with Mac OS a plus.
  • Experience supporting mobile device management (MDM) a plus.
  • Adequate foundation skills in Microsoft Server Operating systems, Active Directory Administration, DFS, DHCP and IIS etc.
  • Generate and maintain documents, knowledge base articles, how-to's FAQ's and reports to support daily operations.
  • Experience supporting MFA and identity-related troubleshooting a plus.
  • Office moves, workstation deployments, and on-site support logistics experience a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft role-based certifications) and exposure to water-sector security/OT concepts (e.g., SCADA awareness) are a plus.
  • Excellent organization and technical documentation skills, including accurate ticket notes and asset/inventory record updates.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines; solve problems requiring creativity, initiative, and drive; self-motivated with a sense of pride in accomplishments.
  • Ability to organize projects and tasks according to priorities and work extended periods at a terminal or PC using a keyboard and mouse.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs - 50lbs.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel to various offices (35% of time) to provide on-site support and assist with office moves.

Compensation Range
$34.00 to $36.00 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
