If you enjoy designing electrical systems, working directly with clients, leading projects, mentoring others, and having a voice in the future direction of a company, this could be the career move you've been waiting for.

What You'll Do

• Develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system designs
• Perform electrical load calculations, short-circuit studies, and coordination studies
• Create and review single-line diagrams, panel schedules, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and structural engineering teams on multidisciplinary projects
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide construction-phase support
• Review contractor submittals and assist with project commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and local code requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to the continued growth and expansion of the firm's electrical engineering practice

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Experience leading projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with forensic engineering or failure analysis
• Renewable energy experience including solar or backup power systems
• Commissioning experience or CxA certification
• Experience with AGi32, Visual Lighting, or similar lighting software
• Knowledge of fire alarm, security, telecommunications, or specialty low-voltage systems
• Business development, proposal writing, or client relationship management experience

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

• Partnership in the firm

• Work alongside experienced civil, mechanical, forensic, and structural engineering professionals
• Direct exposure to clients and business leadership
• Flexible scheduling options including a potential 4x10 workweek
