Job description

Job Title: DevSecOps / Platform Engineer (Cloud & Edge Environments)

Location: United States (Onsite/Hybrid based on program requirements)
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Note: We are looking for candidates who are eligible for Top Secret Clearance

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to support modern, containerized platforms deployed across cloud and edge environments. This role is critical in building and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and security compliance, particularly within regulated or high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage containerized platform environments across cloud and edge infrastructure
  • Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance and scalability
  • Build, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as RMF and STIG
  • Support deployment and operations in high-security environments (IL4/IL5/IL6)
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure delivery

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Proficiency in Docker and containerized application deployment
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience building secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (RMF, STIG)
  • Experience working in regulated or high-security environments

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Platform One or similar defence-oriented platforms
  • Exposure to edge computing environments
  • Knowledge of container security and hardening practices
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
  • Background in defence, aerospace, or other regulated industries

Work Environment

  • Collaborative, cross-functional DevSecOps and engineering teams
  • Mission-critical, high-impact programs
  • Modern cloud-native and edge-based infrastructure
