You’ll be working alongside Jesse, Chase, and Trey, who bring expertise, teamwork, and a shared passion for cycling to The Bicycle Station. Together, you'll help ensure that every bike leaving the shop is in peak condition and that customers receive outstanding service.


Role Description The DTC E-Commerce Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, IN, focused on supporting and growing The Bicycle Station’s direct-to-consumer online sales (thebicyclestation.com). Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and updating product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels across e-commerce platforms. This role also involves optimizing the online shopping experience, assisting with promotions, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with the in-store team to align digital and in-person offerings. The DTC E-Commerce Associate will regularly review performance metrics to identify opportunities to improve conversion, customer satisfaction, and overall online revenue. In addition to managing the e-commerce site, this role will have the opportunity to lead paid marketing across Facebook, Google, Instagram, and more.


Qualifications

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar) and basic understanding of online merchandising and order management.
  • Strong written communication skills for creating clear product descriptions, customer emails, and website content.
  • Digital marketing knowledge, including familiarity with social media, email marketing, and online promotions.
  • Comfort with data entry, spreadsheets, and using reports to track inventory, sales, and customer trends.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
