DESCRIPTION 

We're looking for a Senior Email Marketing Manager to own and scale end-to-end email programs across Sinch Mailgun and Sinch Mailjet. This role spans both our self-serve/PLG business and sales-led GTM motion, and is responsible for driving engagement, retention, pipeline contribution, and revenue through strategic, data-driven email campaigns.

What You'll Do: 

  • Own the full email lifecycle across PLG and sales-led motions, including onboarding, retention, upgrade, expansion, and inbound lead nurture campaigns

  • Manage end-to-end campaign creation, from ideation and project management to copywriting, segmentation, execution, and reporting

  • Design and optimize PLG email programs - including trial onboarding, activation, upgrade, and retention flows - using product event triggers and behavioral data to segment and move users through the funnel 

  • Develop email nurture programs for inbound leads, coordinating with regional field marketing teams (NA, EMEA, APAC) on segmented nurture sequences that support pipeline and contract revenue goals

  • Partner with product marketing on go-to-market (GTM) email campaigns for product launches, feature releases, and cross-sell/expand motions

  • Managewebinarand virtual event promotion campaigns 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, sales, regional field teams, growth, TAMs, and support to align email programs with pipeline goals and customer lifecycle stages

  • Design and run A/B tests;report on campaign performance, insights, and areas for improvement 

  • Track and report ARR influenced by email campaigns 

  • Monitor sending domain health, deliverability, andmaintainaudience list healththrough ongoing segmentation, suppression, and hygiene practices

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle email marketing

  • Deep knowledge of email marketing best practices, industry trends, and global regulatory frameworks including CAN-SPAM and GDPR, with a strong understanding of opt-in/consent requirements across regions

  • Comfortable building emails in Parcel using a drag-and-drop email design system, with basic HTML experience for editing and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing in a SaaS environment, with experience supporting both PLG/self-serve and sales-assisted funnels

  • Experience working on a global marketing team, including coordinating with regional stakeholders across time zones and navigating varying data protection and consent regulations across markets

  • Experiencemonitoringdeliverability andmaintaininglist health 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to report on performance and translate data into action 

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent) and event-driven messaging tools (Customer.io or equivalent); familiarity with Parcel, Goldcast, and Asana is a plus

Salary: The annual starting salary for this position is between $100,000 - $125,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Please note that the application timeline may be flexible to accommodate a comprehensive candidate evaluation.

Location: This is a remote role based on the US East Coast (ET or adjacent time zone required). This person will work closely with teams across North America and Europe, and must be able to overlap with both US and EMEA business hours. Candidates must reside in an approved Sinch hiring state.
