Job description

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting in all aspects of operations at the hotel, day-to-day staff management and guests.  He/She should be an ambassador for the brand and the hotel. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and maintain relationships with internal and external guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Front Office, Housekeeping and Bistro in the absence of department heads.
  • Leads daily team huddles and attends weekly operations meetings.
  • Assists with hiring, training, and coaching staff per company policies.
  • Conducts routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and brand standards.
  • Supports guest satisfaction efforts and service recovery.
  • Maintains staffing levels and labor budgets.
  • Coordinates with all departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensures completion of all required training and orientation.
  • Uses Quore to track maintenance, cleanliness, and communication.
  • Participates in audits, inspections, and the M.O.D. program.
  • Promotes a culture of development, accountability, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in hospitality management preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Attends annually a minimum of one advanced management-training seminar.
  • Attends corporate management sponsored events.
  • Operates in compliance with policies and procedure manuals unless preempted by property or franchise level policies
  • Performs all other duties as required
