Description
Summary: Performs jobs involved with the maintenance and care of the golf course. Provides care and maintenance of several designated holes on the golf course by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course greens, fairways, rough, aprons and tees in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Waters and fertilizes putting greens, tees and fairways.
  • Grades and prepares soil planting bed, lays sod, plants vegetative materials and seeds putting greens, fairways and rough.
  • Changes cups, tees markers and fills divots.
  • Maintains ball washers and water coolers.
  • Edges cart paths and edge, as well as rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
  • Assists in any construction on golf course or buildings.
  • Operates trucks and other light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris.
  • Trims trees and shrubbery, as well as cultivates flowers and shrubs.
  • Operates, cleans, fills, fuels and returns equipment to designated location at the maintenance facility.
  • Marks the golf course for cart control on a weekly basis, moves cart control barriers and replaces worn or lost repose and signs and may mark hazard and drop area.
  • Picks up any trash found on the golf course.
