Portland Metro Area | Direct Hire | On-Site

Salary: $65,000 Base + Quarterly Bonus
Annual Earning Potential Up to $77,000

Our client, a growing food ingredient manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive production performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, developing teams, and improving processes.


What You'll Do

  • Manage daily production operations including batching, blending, packaging, and scheduling
  • Lead, train, and develop production employees
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, SQF standards, food safety requirements, and SOPs
  • Coordinate production schedules with inventory and customer demand
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, and Procurement teams
  • Maintain production records and batch documentation
  • Identify process improvements and eliminate production bottlenecks
  • Build accountability, structure, and consistency within the production team


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of food, beverage, supplement, or ingredient manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or Lead
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, SQF, and food safety requirements
  • Experience developing, implementing, or improving SOPs
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills


Preferred Experience

  • Dry blending, powders, or ingredient manufacturing
  • Nutraceutical, coffee, beverage, or contract manufacturing
  • ERP or inventory management systems
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environments
