Discovering your exciting role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and drive our business development and sales efforts. This role is critical in expanding our market share and managing strategic accounts and key relationships within the semiconductor industry, including Fabs, OEMs, construction firms, contract manufacturers (CMs), and architectural and engineering firms (A&Es).
The Business Development Manager will oversee all sales and business development activities for Exential, targeting semiconductor and other high-tech industry customers. You will maintain regular contact with procurement teams and end users to identify, evaluate, and pursue sales opportunities.
This role serves as the key link between customer demand (Fabs and OEMs) facilitating and supporting the entire sales process. You will also provide valuable market feedback to leadership, offering insight into the evolving needs of our clients and informing future development of our equipment and service portfolio.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Sales Leadership: Lead sales efforts for strategic and tactical accounts, set direction for business growth, and oversee execution of revenue-generating strategies.
Business Development: Identify upcoming customer projects, develop new opportunities, and expand business with Fabs, OEMs, and other high-tech clients.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers and maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders and customers, including Exential.
Sales Operations & Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses; ensure effective use of Salesforce.com and other sales tools.
Proposal & Bid Management: Oversee timely, accurate, and customer-aligned bid activities and proposals; ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.
Strategic Communication: Ensure efficient internal and external communication through clear, professional written and verbal interactions.
Negotiation & Closing: Define strategic goals, lead contract negotiations, address objections, and close complex deals in dynamic environments
Other Duties as Assigned: Support additional responsibilities and special projects in alignment with company goals.

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field (MBA preferred), in lieu of a college degree and 5 years of semiconductor technical sales experience.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably with the Semiconductor market.
Minimum 5 years of experience with specialty gas delivery systems preferred
Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building
Good organizational skills.
High energy level, self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Highly developed business acumen
Proven ability to properly identify, assess and resolve problems
Absolute commitment to ethical business standards
Demonstrated experience in collaborative working relationships with peers
Track record working in a multicultural environment
Willingness to travel
