  • Learn the detailed operation of an automated packaging machine and help formalize system workflows, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Assist with the installation and integration of the automated packaging machine into existing manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in the implementation of a cloud-based maintenance system, including preventive maintenance schedules, parts tracking, and equipment information management.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders on various site projects, providing technical input and process engineering expertise.
  • Act as a technical liaison, communicating effectively with vendors and clients to address technical questions, support project requirements, and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory and manufacturing operations, focusing on process efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Support both food-grade pharmaceutical and industrial chemical plant operations by applying chemical engineering principles to diverse process environments.

Essential Skills

The Chemical Engineer works primarily in an office with approximately six colleagues, while regularly interacting with both plant environments. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with potential adjustment to 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. depending on role needs.
