Overview:
At AMEND, our Data Scientists turn complexity into clarity. This role sits at the core of how we help businesses make better, faster decisions. You'll design and build advanced analytics tools, work directly with clients, and partner closely with AMEND teams to deliver solutions that get utilized. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical skills with strong business judgment and client-facing confidence.
Job Tasks:

You'll be embedded in delivery and accountable for outcomes.

  • Build scalable, data-driven tools and analytics solutions that address real client challenges.
  • Apply optimization, forecasting, machine learning, and predictive analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Develop scalable tools that translate data into action for client leaders and operators.
  • Partner with clients to understand their strategic priorities, pain points, and growth opportunities.
  • Present findings that connect the "what" and "why" to the "so what" - turning technical outputs into clear business value.
  • Facilitate client meetings, stand-ups, and executive briefings with clarity and confidence.
 
Qualifications:
  • Technical expertise: Proven experience with Python or C#, SQL, and applied machine learning or statistical modeling, and data management.
  • Business fluency: Ability to translate analytical results into insights that drive decision-making and strategy.
  • Consulting presence: Experience managing projects, leading meetings, and communicating with executive stakeholders.
  • Analytical creativity: A habit of asking "why?" and exploring unconventional solutions to business problems.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience in industry).
