WME Data Operations Lead - Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud | Pharma | Patient Engagement : Hybrid - East Brunswick, NJ
We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the pharmaceutical Industry.This is a Hybrid position.


Role Summary

This role is critical to designing and implementing the operational controls, monitoring processes, reporting, and
issue management framework required to effectively manage WME data operations following deployment. The
WME Data Operations Lead serves as the bridge between business and technical teams, establishing clear processes
for identifying, prioritizing, and resolving operational data issues.
The role provides immediate operational leadership to define how platform health, data quality, support requests,
and change requests are monitored and managed, creating the foundation that will transition to the CRM & Portal
Data Lead for long-term ownership. This is a hands-on role: the ideal candidate has direct Salesforce experience
preferably backed by Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer certifications and is comfortable
personally troubleshooting and querying Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, not just designing processes on paper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design monitoring, issue-management, support, and change-management processes.
  • Configure Salesforce dashboards, reports, alerts, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce/CRM issues and use SOQL/SOSL to investigate data problems.
  • Define SLAs, KPIs, escalation processes, and operational reporting.
  • Develop SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
  • Partner with Salesforce, business, compliance, and data governance teams.
  • Support transition of ongoing operations to the permanent team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years in data operations, platform operations, or operational support.
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce configuration experience; Health Cloud preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Experience with patient data, programs, cases, consents, and regulated environments.
  • Pharma/Life Sciences experience, preferably Patient Engagement or Patient Support Programs.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud data models: patient, HCP, affiliation, consent, engagement, and programs.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and operational support practices.
  • Experience with monitoring, KPIs, issue/change management, and transition planning.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation and business architecture.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong cross-functional communication across IT, vendors, compliance, governance, and business teams.
  • Salesforce Administrator / Platform Developer certification.
  • ITIL/ITSM experience.
  • Informatica, Talend, or MuleSoft experience.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Health Cloud Consultant or Data Cloud certification.
