Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design and enhance reporting solutions that help leaders make informed business decisions. This position will focus on building scalable dashboards, translating complex operational and financial data into clear insights, and supporting analysis across inventory, cost, and performance metrics. Based in North Miami Beach, Florida, the role requires strong expertise in Power BI and a practical understanding of enterprise data environments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks that convert raw business data into meaningful, actionable insights.
• Partner with finance, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to define reporting needs and deliver analytics aligned with business priorities.
• Create, optimize, and maintain data models, calculated measures, and visualizations using DAX and other BI best practices.
• Analyze standard costing, variance trends, and inventory performance to support operational visibility and financial decision-making.
• Integrate and interpret data from systems such as NetSuite to improve reporting accuracy and consistency across the organization.
• Assess existing business intelligence processes and recommend improvements that strengthen reporting reliability and user adoption.
• Support change management efforts related to reporting enhancements, new dashboards, and evolving analytics requirements.
• Ensure data quality by validating source information, troubleshooting discrepancies, and refining reporting logic as needed.• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data reporting roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and report optimization.
• Proficiency in DAX and business intelligence technologies used to transform complex datasets into clear reporting outputs.
• Experience working with ERP or financial systems such as NetSuite.
• Solid understanding of standard cost analysis, variance analysis, and inventory-related reporting.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting reporting improvements in environments undergoing process or organizational change.
