Overview
This is 100% remote position. CHLA requires a primary residence in California prior to start date.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Manager, Data & Analytics in Quality provides ongoing leadership, guidance and support to the Quality data and analytics needs across the organization. Provides relevant data for clinical operations to achieve mission, vision and strategy in unison with the Data and Analytics Program Manager. Makes decisions and provides employee and organizational guidance based on evidence-based practices and effective processes that support operations within Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Responsible for providing recommendations and workable solutions for data needs, in conjunction with DSS, IS and other departments. Serves as data validity subject matter expert in support and creation of dashboards and scorecards for optimal understanding, dissemination and communication, at an organizational and departmental level. Benchmarks with other organizations to continually grow the competency and understanding of the data and analytics team by observing best practices of other organizations.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Required:
  • 5+ years of Data and Analytics experience.
  • Experience and understanding of data trends and analyzing implications for improvement opportunities.
  • Detail oriented, open to changing formats and data requirements.
Preferred:
  • Experience in healthcare data and analytics programs with progressive leadership experience.
  • Experience working with Physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software programs, including Power BI.
  • Prior experience using SQL.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in data/analytics or healthcare related field preferred.
Pay Scale Information
USD $117,936.00 - USD $160,392.96

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
