About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical Business & Data Analyst Consultant to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives within a Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environment. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, product managers, data consumers, and technology teams to transform business needs into actionable data insights and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with advanced data analysis skills and a passion for data quality, governance, and decision support. This position focuses on business and data analysis and does not include application development, data engineering, cloud administration, or database administration responsibilities.
What You'll Do
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements across enterprise initiatives.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and data quality concerns.
  • Conduct data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear reporting, analytics, and data requirements.
  • Partner with product, governance, business, and technology teams to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to data governance efforts by supporting data lineage, quality controls, and enterprise data standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in business analysis and data analysis roles supporting enterprise data initiatives.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying large-scale datasets.
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based data environments, including Google BigQuery.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality management processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise data products, analytics platforms, or reporting ecosystems.
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Jira or similar tools.
  • Background in Banking, Financial Services, Risk Management, Regulatory, or Compliance domains.
