Job description

Studio Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized, driven Studio Manager to join our team. As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for driving recurring membership sales and promoting the growth of our studio, overseeing all sales and operational aspects of the studio, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our valued members. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage a team of sales associates, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities Sales and Marketing
  • Manage and drive multiple revenue streams for the studio, including membership, personal training, corporate memberships, private events and POS sales. Assigns individual sales goals for team based on studio goals and create a roadmap to achieving success.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
  • Build relationships with businesses to build awareness and generate leads.
  • Monitor and analyze membership sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in planning and executing promotional events and initiatives to drive studio revenue.
  • Foster a sense of community with members and guests that impact retention efforts, member acquisition and referrals.
  • Localize impact by turning ideas into tangible executions through market experiences, local partnerships, and tapping into community organizations and events.
Operations Management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio, including opening and closing procedures, facility maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Ensure that the studio is clean, organized, and fully equipped for all classes and sessions.
  • Collaborate with instructors and staff to create and maintain an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for members.
  • Establish Monthly Class Schedule (with help from Lead Trainer) and coordinate Sub Requests with Staff.
  • Create and Manage Sales Associate staff schedules to ensure payroll budget is not exceeded monthly.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedule
Membership Services
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee membership administration, including new member sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
Staff Management
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise studio staff, including instructors, front desk personnel, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to ensure a high level of professionalism and service.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting staff motivation and engagement.
Financial Management
  • Prepare and manage the studio's operating budget, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and cash flow, implementing cost-effective measures where necessary.
  • Generate reports and provide regular updates to senior management on financial performance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the fitness industry, preferably in a boutique or luxury setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for creating a positive member experience.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using fitness management software and familiarity with administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A flexible schedule, as some evenings and weekends may be required.
