Field Systems Technician

Agrecom, Inc.

Position Summary

The Field Systems Technician is responsible for providing pest management, sanitation, water treatment, system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, customer support, and regulatory compliance services across a variety of customer environments. This position combines technical expertise, customer service, and field operations while supporting Agrecom's mission of delivering industry-leading biosecurity and environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for agricultural, commercial, and residential customers.
  • Execute sanitation, disinfection, and disease mitigation applications.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment, filtration, dosing, monitoring, fogging, pump, and injection systems.
  • Conduct water sampling, testing, and chemical residual analysis, and communicate findings to customers.
  • Safely transport, handle, and apply chemicals in compliance with all applicable HAZMAT, DOT, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, service records, compliance documentation, and customer reports.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with service modifications, mapping, and reporting requirements.
  • Follow all company safety, biosecurity, operational, and compliance procedures.
  • Support emergency response, on-call coverage, after-hours service, and travel-related customer needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screening requirements.
  • Ability to obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification if required.
  • Willingness to travel throughout California, Colorado, Iowa, and other service territories as needed.
  • Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, wear respiratory protection, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pest management, sanitation, water treatment, industrial service, or related field operations.
  • Experience working with plumbing, electrical systems, pumps, injection systems, filtration systems, or mechanical equipment.
  • Technical, vocational, or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certifications in pest control, HAZMAT, water treatment, safety, maintenance, or related disciplines are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
