Job Description

The Enterprise Content Administrator will work as a part of a team who are responsible for administering, supporting, document conversions and migrations and monitoring of the content management system. This includes day-to-day administration, performance tuning, and maintenance supporting all systems required for the content management environment to be functional. The Enterprise Content Administrator will also be responsible for reviewing maintenance plans, ensuring backups are being successfully performed, respond to failures, write and test disaster recovery plans, and assist in design of application interfaces to the document repository.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure system availability, recovery
  • Provide daily management of content management system infrastructure and assure service availability
  • Maintain all environments including Development, QA, and Production environments
  • Work with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality products
  • Responsible for documenting all maintenance procedures
  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Keep the content management software up to date with necessary patches
  • Perform release management activities
  • Perform server migration/upgrade activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Essential Skills 

  • 5+ years content management experience within an enterprise level environment (preferred)
  • Experience in OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OCC, OTDS, or Brava
  • Thorough understanding of content management systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving integrity and performance issues
  • Experience with performance tuning a content management environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience administrating IIS, Tomcat, Apache, or other web hosting platforms
  • Expert experience in implementing operational automation
