Job description

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects in the Reno, NV area. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep experience in arena, large hospitality, or complex high-value developments. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large-scale commercial construction projects (arenas, resorts, hotels, mixed-use developments) from inception to completion
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Manage and mentor project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Drive cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple projects
  • Lead contract negotiations, change order management, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with field leadership to ensure alignment between office and site operations
  • Provide strategic input during preconstruction, including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects such as arenas, stadiums, resorts, or major hospitality developments
  • Strong background in ground-up construction and complex renovations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and large project teams
