Project Manager – Construction Consultancy


Location: San Francisco

Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 Base + Bonus + Full Benefits

HeatherDaniel International has been retained by a leading, nationally recognized Project Management consultancy expanding its premier San Francisco practice. Known for executing complex, high-visibility commercial fit-outs and capital projects, our client offers an exceptional platform for growth, competitive compensation, and direct client exposure.


Role Profile

We are seeking and excellent Project Manager to lead project execution from inception to completion across major San Francisco assets. You will act as the key client liaison, overseeing architects, general contractors, engineers, and sub-consultants while managing project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive full lifecycle delivery for commercial interior fit-outs, landlord capital projects, and building repositioning.
  • Manage master project schedules, budget tracking, change orders, and monthly executive reporting.
  • Direct project team meetings, lead site inspections, and present strategic solutions to client stakeholders.
  • Build strong long-term relationships with corporate clients, landlords, and project partners.


Requirements

  • Experience: 4–8+ years of PM experience in the commercial real estate or construction sector.
  • Background: Prior experience in a Construction Management (CM) consultancy or Owner’s Representation firm is highly preferred. Candidates from Engineering, General Contracting, or Architectural backgrounds seeking to step into consultancy project management are also encouraged to apply.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong presentation skills, commercial acumen, and confidence in managing project scenarios and client briefings.
