Position Summary
The Warehouse & Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management, fleet readiness, warehouse operations, equipment maintenance, and facility coordination. This hands-on role ensures roofing materials, tools, vehicles, and equipment are organized, maintained, and available to support daily production activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of operational needs, identifies issues before they become problems, and helps maintain a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.
Success in this role requires a proactive individual who consistently identifies needs, takes initiative, and ensures tasks are completed without constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory of all warehouse materials, tools, and equipment using inventory tracking spreadsheets and systems
- Receive, organize, store, and distribute roofing materials to support production and service operations
- Conduct routine inventory audits and communicate reorder needs to leadership
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, organized, and available for crews
- Oversee company fleet readiness, including vehicle cleanliness, organization, inspections, and maintenance coordination
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for company vehicles, including trucks used by Roof Inspectors and Install Managers
- Track vehicle status, maintenance schedules, and fleet records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Coordinate building and grounds maintenance activities, including scheduling and managing outside contractors as needed
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials and equipment throughout the warehouse and property
- Support operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve organization, accountability, and workflow processes
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical labor in a warehouse environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, fleet, or operations experience
- Forklift and Bobcat operating experience (training available)
- Experience managing inventory within construction, roofing, or home services environments
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment and vehicle upkeep
- Bilingual in Spanish
Schedule & Compensation
- Onsite Daily; Monday - Friday (standard business hours)
- 8-10 hour shifts with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed
- Competitive hourly pay - $28-30/hour & performance-based bonuses ($65,000 - 70,000 OTE)
