Essential Job functions (Tasks, duties and responsibilities most important for the Job)
General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)
Must be able to maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions.
Must have the ability to perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Must have the flexibility, if instructed, to work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift).
The ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems.
The ability to use basic computer functions as needed.
The ability to be certified on lift equipment should this be required.
Must have the ability to work safely and abide by all of Carter's Safety rules and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-MINIMUM COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB
Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.
Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
Proficient reading skills.
Must have the ability to abide by all of Carter's policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required.
Six months automated distribution center experience preferred.
PHYSICAL and Work DEMANDS
Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds.
Must be able to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required. Must be able to work consecutive days during peak season.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
Holiday schedule to be decided by Management.
Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management.
