Karen, I also have an idea that would fit perfectly with your handbook. Instead of a basic job description, I can create "The Cutting Edge Warehouse Manager Success Guide." It would include:

  • Daily Opening Checklist
  • Daily Closing Checklist
  • Weekly Warehouse Responsibilities
  • Monthly Inventory Responsibilities
  • Seasonal Preparation Checklists
  • KPIs (Inventory Accuracy, Truck Readiness, Order Accuracy, Warehouse Cleanliness, etc.)
  • Performance Expectations
  • Signature Acknowledgement Page

It would match the polished style of the handbook we've been building and give your Warehouse Manager a clear roadmap for success from day one. I think it would become one of the strongest sections in the entire manual.
