We are hiring immediately for an experienced warehouse worker as a Senior Warehouse Associate at our distribution facility. Your experience and knowledge of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and light assembly shows how it impacts others. We are Wesco. Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a Senior Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate you will be performing specialized wire cutting applications and other value added services within the warehouse such as subsequent manufacturing and assembling ready to install products.  You will be responsible for operating a cutting machine to cut, prepare and ship specialized wire, cable and related materials to our customers' orders.

  • Operate wire respooling machinery to prepare specialized wire cuts for shipment
  • Calculate wire respooling length based on desired completion footage
  • Visually inspect wire for imperfections and part number accuracy 
  • Ability to learn and set-up stripe machine, twist machine, and etch line
  • Load, unload and move material in a safe manner manually or by using a forklift or other approved device

Education & Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Forklift experience 
  • 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred
  • Reach truck experience preferred

  • Be able to read a ruler

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
