Overview
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will cover a multitude of disciplines such as overseeing the movement and storage of goods throughout the warehouse/laydown, managing materials inventory and maintaining a database. Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the laydown, and to the individual Data Center construction site building laydowns. Ensure proper receipt of delivered materials, and transmittal of received shipping documents to the Project Coordinator Team for receipt in our Acumatica accounting system.
A Typical Day at Prime Controls
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for production materials, Instruments & Controls inventory, field service stock and tools.
  • Lead cycle counting and physical inventory programs to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and transaction issues.
  • Coordinate with Field/Construction and Project Coordination teams on material requirements and shortages.
  • Monitor obsolete, excess, and slow-moving inventory and implement corrective actions.
  • Research quotes for ordering materials as needed.
  • Oversee receipt of materials and work with Project Coordination Team for proper accounting in required electronic database.

Field Service & I&C Material Support
  • Manage inventory and fulfillment of field service materials and spare parts.
  • Build relationships with suppliers/vendors to ensure best possible customer service and pricing is provided.
  • Maintain control of Instruments & Controls inventory and specialized material requirements.
  • Coordinate urgent material requests and shipments supporting field operations and customer service needs.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse personnel across multiple warehouse functions.
  • Establish KPIs related to inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, on-time delivery, and replenishment performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse flow, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.

Systems & Reporting
  • Utilize ERP/WMS systems to manage inventory transactions and warehouse operations.
  • Analyze warehouse and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Generate reports related to inventory accuracy, material shortages, warehouse performance, and service levels.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of warehouse, materials, or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing bulk inventory operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, MRP systems, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience supporting field service operations.
  • Knowledge of Instruments & Controls materials and industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be bi-lingual - English/Spanish
