We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Merchandiser to join our Corporate Merchandising team in Omaha. In this role, you will merchandise soybeans and finished soybean products while managing supply chain positions and price risk. You will build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and end-users, negotiate transactions, and contribute to market strategy and trading decisions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This position offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in commodity merchandising, hedging strategies, and agricultural supply chain dynamics while directly impacting business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Merchandise soybeans and soybean products through cash and/or basis trading activities

  • Negotiate purchase and sales contracts with suppliers and customers

  • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with producers, processors, and end-users

  • Manage supply chain positions, logistics coordination, and risk exposure

  • Monitor and interpret market conditions, fundamentals, and pricing signals

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, risk management, and finance teams

  • Represent the company at industry and customer events

  • Travel to plant locations, customers, and industry meetings as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agribusiness, finance, economics, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in grain, oilseed, or agricultural commodity merchandising/trading

  • Demonstrated negotiation and commercial decision-making skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and market interpretation ability

  • Excellent relationship-building and customer communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-moving trading environment
