JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess incident reports to determine necessary follow-up tasks. Work with properties to secure viable back-up documentation and report claims to the insurance company when needed
  • Work with insurance adjusters to provide requested documentation and answer any claim-related questions. Follow claims through from beginning to end.
  • Maintain input and data quality of risk management systems.
  • Identify and analyze areas of potential risk and develop, implement and maintain systems and processes to mitigate these risks
  • Ensure compliance with risk-related processes already in place
  • Conduct employee training, including web-based lectures, demonstrations, coordinating hands-on instruction and self-guided learning via video training modules.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of High School education; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Risk Management preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role, preferably in the hospitality or insurance industries
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to self-direct and self-pace.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
