Job description

Utility Trux is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales / Parts Counter Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with parts and accessory needs, processing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the service department. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is eager to learn about a wide range of parts and product lines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers (both internal and external) with requested parts and accessories in a timely manner.
  • Identify correct parts and accessories while recommending additional products when appropriate.
  • Follow up with vendors on special orders and process warranty claims.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers and vendors.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and maintain a clean, organized parts counter, inventory area, and retail displays.
  • Support the service department with parts ordering as needed.
  • Take initiative to learn parts and accessories across all product lines.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/order management systems.
  • Retail sales experience is helpful.
  • Forklift operation experience is helpful (training may be provided).
  • Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required.
