Job description
Overview
The Sr. Director, Cyber Solutions & PMO Operations leads the delivery of a large, multi-year program to modernize cyber defense and enterprise resilience across The Coca-Cola Company. The role is accountable for the end-to-end program management of this initiative - charter, plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, budget, and executive reporting - and for the disciplined PMO operations that keep a highly complex, highly visible program on track.
A defining focus of the program is Artificial Intelligence - both leveraging AI to modernize the Company's defensive capabilities and enterprise resilience, and hardening the Company against AI-enabled threats and misuse. The Sr. Director orchestrates the work of Cyber, Enterprise Technology, business, and external delivery partners to ensure this modernization delivers measurable outcomes at Coca-Cola scale.
This is an individual-contributor role. The Director leads through influence rather than direct authority, working across a networked global organization to align senior stakeholders, remove obstacles, and drive execution. The role reports to the Senior Director, Cyber Defense / Deputy CISO within the Chief Information Security Office.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of the cyber defense and enterprise resilience modernization program, translating executive vision into a clear multi-year roadmap, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Establish and maintain the program charter, scope, dependencies, and success criteria in partnership with the CISO, Deputy CISO, and enterprise technology leaders.
- Sequence workstreams and investments across a portfolio of interdependent initiatives, ensuring the program stays coherent as priorities and technology shift.
- Drive execution to committed milestones, actively unblocking teams and escalating decisions to keep the program on pace.
PMO Operations
- Run disciplined program-management operations: integrated plan, dependencies, budget and financial tracking, resource plan, RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions), and change control.
- Manage workstream intake, prioritization, and dependency governance across the program's portfolio of initiatives, ensuring new demands are sequenced against capacity and critical path.
- Design and stand up the program's governance structure (steering group, decision forums, working sessions, and escalation paths) with clear decision rights, cadences, and accountability appropriate to a highly visible enterprise program.
- Set standards for planning quality, artifacts, and metrics across the program's workstreams; hold workstream leaders to those standards through influence, coaching, and executive visibility.
- Manage the program budget and forecast with rigor, partnering with Finance and Procurement on approvals, capitalization, and vendor spend.
- Own the program's executive reporting capabilities (dashboards, scorecards, milestone narratives, and executive reporting materials) ensuring leadership has continuous, decision-ready visibility into program progress, risks, investment performance, and value delivered.
AI Enablement & Defense Focus
- Ensure the program consistently identifies opportunities to leverage AI - including agentic and automation capabilities - to modernize defense, resilience, and operations.
- Ensure the program's designs and deliverables address defense against AI-enabled threats, AI misuse, and emerging AI risks in partnership with the CISO organization and the AI Risk Governance Council.
- Coordinate with the Chief AI Office, Data & AI, Legal, and Privacy so that AI-related program decisions are consistent with the Company's broader AI risk and governance posture.
Enterprise Technology Integration
- Partner with the CISO leadership function leads, Platform Services, Data, IT Core, and Application Owners to ensure program deliverables integrate cleanly with the Company's technology landscape.
- Bring practical, hands-earned experience of large enterprise technology delivery to program decisions - architecture trade-offs, build-vs-buy, cloud adoption, integration, data, and change adoption.
- Ensure program deliverables are designed and delivered with resilience, operability, and long-term supportability in mind.
Executive Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the program's senior operating leader with executive stakeholders across the CISO organization, Enterprise Technology, Finance, Legal, Privacy, HR, Communications, and the Bottling System.
- Prepare and deliver clear, executive-framed reporting to the CISO, Deputy CISO, and enterprise leadership on program progress, risks, and decisions required.
- Support steering committee and board-adjacent updates with credible narratives, data, and options.
- Build durable trust with senior leaders so that difficult trade-offs can be surfaced and resolved quickly.
Vendor & Delivery Partner Management
- Manage relationships with major implementation and technology partners, holding them accountable to outcomes, SLAs, and value delivered.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, and Privacy on contracts, statements of work, change orders, and third-party risk requirements.
- Balance the mix of internal and external delivery capacity to keep the program cost-effective and on pace.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Lead a virtual program team of workstream leaders, subject-matter experts, and delivery partners without direct-reporting authority.
- Set clear expectations, hold others accountable, and coach workstream leaders on program-management practice.
- Build consensus and alignment across functions with different priorities, timelines, and operating styles.
Continuous Improvement
- Continuously improve the program's planning, reporting, and operating practices, and share those improvements across the CISO organization where useful.
- Capture and act on lessons learned across the program's phases and workstreams.
- Support post-implementation reviews and the transition of new capabilities to steady-state operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience delivering large, complex, highly visible enterprise technology programs in global organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-year, multi-workstream programs with significant budgets, complex dependencies, and executive-level visibility.
- Deep experience running program-specific PMO operations, including integrated planning, RAID management, financials, and executive reporting.
- Strong enterprise technology fluency across cloud, data, application, and infrastructure domains; able to engage credibly on architecture, build-vs-buy, and integration trade-offs.
- Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and how AI is reshaping enterprise technology delivery; direct cybersecurity expertise is not required, but experience delivering programs adjacent to Cyber, Risk, or Compliance is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead through influence - aligning senior stakeholders and driving accountability without direct-reporting authority.
- Experience operating across networked, matrixed, global organizations and complex partner ecosystems (e.g., bottling systems, franchisees, or analogous partner networks).
- Experience managing major implementation and technology partners, and coordinating with Finance, Procurement, and Legal on large-scale delivery.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, with a track record of producing crisp, decision-ready materials for senior leaders.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, SAFe, Prosci, or ITIL are preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field required.
- Master's degree, MBA, or advanced professional credential (PgMP, PMP, or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Apply an Enterprise Mindset - Connect program outcomes to brand, consumer trust, growth, and the resilience of the Coca-Cola System.
- Influence Across the Network - Align diverse stakeholders and drive accountability without direct authority.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to the Senior Director, Cyber Defense / Deputy CISO, within the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) organization.
- No direct reports; leads a virtual program team of workstream leaders, subject-matter experts, and delivery partners through influence.
