Job Description
Cintas is hiring for a Service Representative in Training/Bench for our Eyewash/WaterBreak line of products. This role will provide customers with a service that thoroughly cleans and sanitizes their eyewash stations and WaterBreak water and ice units using the tools provided in our comprehensive training programs. You'll be operating all equipment and performing work in a safe manner in accordance with all safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices. In addition to servicing these products, you will also sell the complete Eyewash and WaterBreak line of products to Cintas First Aid and Safety (FAS) customers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Training: Actively participate in on-the-job training which will culminate with a comprehensive hands-on certification.
  • Timely Service: Service customers according to a well-planned calendar, ensuring customers are not serviced outside their scheduled service frequency.
  • Customer Service: Establish & maintain a rapport with each customer contact to prevent lost business. Resolve customer concerns by developing a problem resolution plan and communicating issues to the customer. Strive to improve the product, systems or services provided to the customer.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Perform a function check as well as clean and sanitize the outside of the WaterBreak water and ice units. Thoroughly clean and sanitize customer eyewash stations with cleaning equipment; change out eyewash station water, clean the inside of the station, replace with clean water, and add an antimicrobial additive. Properly clean and maintain the inside of van and service equipment daily.
  • Customer Retention and Growth: Increase route volume by selling & meeting sales goals through the following efforts:
    • Price Increases - sell customers on price increases as established by the Service Manager.
    • Selling New - sell new stations, units, and target products
  • Invoicing: Provide accurate invoicing and accounting of services rendered to customers and obtain a signature on the invoice. Complete all paperwork and reports as required. Maintain 30/60/90+ past due percentages according to goals set by management and assist in the collection of past due amounts.

Skills/Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised.
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
