Marketing Coordinator
Salary Range: $66,273 - $99,409
The expected pay range is based on many factors, such as experience, education, and the market. The range is subject to change.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Marketing Coordinator supports implementation of marketing strategies and tactics, including ongoing marketing programs, as well as new product and program launches and leads and participates in projects and tasks to support and improve the operations of the department in support of organizational objectives, and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements, SCFHP policies and procedures, and business requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below.
  1. Assist in proofreading, editing, and formatting member, provider, and outreach materials.
  2. Maintain audit records for all marketing materials and approvals.
  3. Provide website review and support, which may include completing scheduled reviews to ensure functionality and accuracy, finding and fixing problems, preparing documents for posting, updating content, and assisting with 508 compliance.
  4. Work with community organizations and internal staff to execute outreach events, including event preparation and coordination, material management, event review, and reporting.
  5. Support needs of the marketing department including managing SharePoint calendars, scheduling, maintaining records, generating mailing lists, setting up documents, and implementing other projects in support of marketing strategies.
  6. Develop, maintain and use operating instructions and tools needed to support Marketing activities and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  7. Attend and actively participate in department meetings, trainings and coaching sessions.
  8. Identify issues, trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency and/or quality, or to better assist departments, as well as general departmental questions/concerns; report relevant information to management.
  9. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience, training or coursework. (R)
  2. Minimum one year of experience in supporting marketing and communications operations. (R)
  3. Proficient in adapting to changing situations and efficiently alternating focus between multiple projects as dictated by business needs. (R)
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills. (R)
  5. Ability to pay attention to detail and work accurately. (R)
  6. Ability to think creatively and strategically. (R)
  7. Strong computer skills including fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience writing and managing complex documents including use of styles, bookmarks, and other document setup/management tools; and use of the Web for research. (R)
  8. Knowledge of healthcare, Medi-Cal managed care and Medicare. (D)
  9. Knowledge of Content Management System/HTML used for editing and maintaining website. (R)
  10. Fluent in written Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Chinese. (D)
  11. Ability to think and work effectively under pressure and accurately prioritize and complete tasks within established timeframes. (R)
  12. Self-directed, ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, work independently, and exercise good judgment when making decisions within the scope of the position. (R)
  13. Ability to maintain confidentiality. (R)

WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are primarily performed in an office environment while sitting or standing at a desk. Incumbents are subject to regular contact with co-workers, managers, external partners, and vendors, in person, by telephone, and via work-related electronic communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Incumbents must be able to perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation:
