Backhoe Operator W/CDL (Oilfield)

Category: Oil & Gas Production

Description: Backhoe Operator's primary function is operating the heavy equipment for excavation and material movement. All equipment operators' are expected to run other equipment such as Bulldozers, Haulers, and Loaders as needed. Equipment operators are also expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.

Backhoe Operator Primary Responsibilities:

  • Haul rock and other material from location to location
  • Responsible for the safe operation of equipment
  • Clean up around facilities
  • Report any unsafe condition, accident or injury to crew leader
  • Performs any other duties from time to time as may be assigned by the crew leader
  • Maintenance of all equipment and tools

Position Requirements: Heavy Equipment Operator Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of on-the-job experience with Hauler, Backhoes, Graders, and Dozers
  • CDL Required
  • No CDL automatic restriction
  • Tanker Endorsement a plus
