Job Description Senior Merchandising Manager (Jewelry) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, highly accomplished, and operationally focused Senior Merchandising Manager to lead our private label jewelry business. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, results-oriented leader who can independently drive profitable sales growth, manage end-to-end product processes, and direct a supporting Associate. Success in this role requires a strong sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and expertise in private label fashion jewelry.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Management & Sales Build, manage, and direct the account base to achieve or exceed sales and distribution goals within company standards. Analyze sales data (monthly, quarterly, seasonally) to identify best/worst sellers, and make recommendations to further drive the business. Be current on market trends and track competitors to identify strategic sales opportunities.

End-to-End Product Life Cycle Management Manage the entire product life cycle process from beginning to end, serving as the main communicator and coordinator between all internal (Design, Planning, Production, Packaging) and external teams. Partner with retailers on all private label product development requests, proposals, and design changes. Maintain and manage the overall design and production calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.

Review product assortments to ensure plating, silhouette, and class are aligned with sales trends. Review all development samples with the Design team for updates/changes and alert customers accordingly. Research new ideas through trend resources and shopping for design inspiration.

Merchandise boards for project proposals and internal/external presentations. Operational Leadership & Team Management Manage, mentor, and direct the work of a supporting Associate. Streamline and manage order-processing activities; enter orders into the system and occasionally jump in to provide direct support on high-volume tasks.

Collaborate with the Planning team on style allocations and replenishment buys. Manage shipping directives and resolve EDI discrepancies. Provide carding and packaging directives to the Packaging team and manage new packaging requests.

Communicate and update clients with order status. Be familiar with client systems to complete setup as needed. Take product photos for internal use (e.g., linesheets, updates)

Required Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of proven experience working in wholesale fashion jewelry, with essential knowledge of private label development. Demonstrated success in independently managing sales accounts and growing existing business. Strong leadership and managerial skills with experience mentoring and directing staff.

Exceptional organization, project management, and attention to detail are critical. A strong sense of urgency and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated and able to take initiative to complete complex tasks quickly and independently.

Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to influence outcomes across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced analysis preferred), and Outlook programs.
