THE WORK:
  • You'll implement the Energy Isolation Program using SPS-101 standards and guidebooks as the foundational framework.
  • You'll establish and manage an Energy Isolation assurance process, addressing gaps identified during audits.
  • You'll participate in High-Risk Activity planning meetings related to energy isolation procedures.
  • You'll ensure the approval process for proposed Energy Isolation procedures is properly implemented.
  • You'll collaborate with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to develop and manage the Energy Isolation Permit process.
  • You'll review Statements of Work, Methods of Procedure, and Scripts to identify all energy sources.
  • You'll determine the need for group or individual LOTO and help establish a centralized LOTO system across site entities.
  • You'll verify personnel qualifications, training, and PPE compliance for those performing energy isolation tasks.
  • You'll delegate qualified alternates to assume responsibilities during multi-shift or peak energization periods.
  • You'll ensure alignment with SPS-101 guidelines and maintain communication with site teams to support safe energy isolation practices.
  • On-site at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. 
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Minimum of 8 years of Experience in DC construction and commissioning standards and practices
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Project Management Experience
  • Familiarity with multiple sources of energy in data centers, with emphasis placed on electrical 
  • Team player skills with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing 
  • Proven ability to interact with teams and implement improvements
  • Good ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers
  • Ability to audit site practices against written standards as part of an assurance role
  • Strong ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies to ensure the design of LOTO systems is 100% effective
 
$130,000 - $170,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
