Job description

) The Delivery & Catering Specialist will report to the corporate operations team and work in tandem with the General Manager, Event Manager, and Store Managers to ensure all juice and prep deliveries are completed every morning, ensuring stores are fully stocked with items they need to be successful daily. They will also be responsible for delivering catering events when applicable.
Roles and responsibilities:
DMV store logistics
  • Receive and execute all juice and prep orders from Store Managers of DC stores
  • Keep track of all juice and prep inventory across corporate DC stores
  • Execute deliveries to all corporate DC stores between 6:00-8:00 AM with the understanding that delivery days and their frequency may be changed seasonally
  • Maintain an inventory log that tracks the delivery date and expiration date of all juice and prep items delivered
  • Keep track of and maintain a log of all smallwares and their whereabouts
  • Pull all expired products from stores when the expiration date arrives
  • Maintain open communication regarding inventory needs with all Store Managers

Catering logistics
  • Deliver all catering orders as assigned and arrive 10 minutes early to every event
  • Actively communicate with the Event Manager on delivery updates as needed
  • Ensure all catering orders maintain a consistent quality and presentation
  • Assist in catering order preparation as needed
  • Send photos to the Event Manager of all catering orders upon delivery
  • Keep track of and maintain a log of all catering inventory and their whereabouts
  • Be an expert on Toastique's catering offerings to accurately support staff and client questions
  • Consistently display a positive, friendly attitude as the face of Toastique while delivering catering orders to customers

Role Requirements:
  • Driver's License
  • Open Availability (especially in the morning)

Preferred Requirements (will obtain within 90 days of employment)
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • ServSafe certificate
  • ABRA certificate

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a standing position 50% of the time
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

Pay:
$20/hr (30-40 hrs/ week, 5 days/week)
A set amount of prep items will all be prepared at the Toastique Union Market location to be delivered to the Navy Yard, Wharf, and Dupont store locations. These prep items include:
  • Juice
  • Energy Balls
  • Granola Bars
  • Almond Butter and Peanut Butter Cups
  • Wellness Shots
  • Spicy Noodles
  • Soup (Seasonal)
  • Peanut Butter
  • Almond Butter
  • Grated Cheese
  • Prosciutto
