Job description

Status: Full-TimeWork Schedule: Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends or companyevents may be required with advance notice.Hours: 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Flexible adjustments may bepre-approved by the Operations Manager based on business needs.)Classification: Non-Exempt - Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable Louisianalabor laws.Reports To: Operations ManagerPosition SummaryThe Butter Maker is engaged to assist with the preparation, mixing, and packaging of herbal body butters, oil, and waters in accordance with established formulas and quality standards.The role requires attention to detail, consistency in following documented procedures, and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.This position is best suited for individuals who are comfortable working with their hands, can accurately follow written instructions, and are able to maintain productivity in a structured environment.All work must be performed in a manner that supports product integrity, workplace safety, and compliance with The Goddess Collection policies. Duties may evolve as business needs change, and additional related tasks may be assigned within the scope of this role.Key ResponsibilitiesMeasures, weighs, and mixes raw ingredients for butters, oils, and waters according to exact company formulations.Operates mixers, scales, and other equipment safely and accurately.Ensures and tests consistency in texture, fragrance, and quality of each batch.Cleans and sanitizes equipment, tools, and work areas in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.Pours, fills, and packages butter products neatly and efficiently.Accurately label finished products, checking compliance with internal and FDA standards.Records batch numbers and production logs for quality control.Maintains speed and accuracy while minimizing waste of ingredients and packaging materials.Collaborates effectively with Team Leader to achieve daily production goals and maintain on-time workflow.Performance StandardsAccuracy: Consistently follows formulas and procedures withminimal measurement errors.Productivity: Regularly meets or exceeds daily batch andpackaging goals.Quality: Finished products consistently meet internalquality standards with limited need for rework.Cleanliness: Maintains a sanitary work environment, withequipment and workspace cleaned daily.Efficiency: Demonstrates effective time and resourcemanagement to reduce waste.Dependability: Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality throughout the period of engagement.QualificationsPrevious experience in production, food handling, or cosmetic manufacturing preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Role regularly requires lifting up to 30 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to perform repetitive mixing and packaging tasks safely and effectively.Dependable and punctual, able to work independently with limited supervision.Team-oriented with effective communication skills.Work ExpectationsWorkplace: Smoke-free, alcohol-free, fragrance- free, drug-free,and wellness-focused environmentCore Values AlignmentThe Butter Maker Team Leader exemplifies The Goddess Collection'smission to Empower, Inspire, and Elevate by:Leading with mindfulness, accountability, and excellence.Fostering a culture of wellness, growth, and high performance.Ensuring efficient operations, safe facilities, and satisfiedcustomers.
