Job description

SUMMARY
The Brand Manager: Avery & Mahou Imports is responsible for leading the planning, activation, and execution of the Avery Brewing Company portfolio & Mahou Import business. This role supports the Mahou USA Brand Director in setting long-range brand strategy with best-in-class commercial activation to drive sustainable brand growth across retail, on-premise, digital, experiential, and our iconic Boulder Taproom.
This individual will serve as the steward of the Avery & Mahou Import brand portfolios, translating consumer insights, marketplace dynamics, and business objectives into integrated marketing plans that strengthen brand equity and accelerate commercial performance.
The role will also lead the experiential marketing strategy, overseeing both third-party event partnerships and owned events, ensuring every consumer touchpoint delivers a memorable, relevant and compelling brand experience that allows the brand to retain and recruit consumers.
The ideal candidate is highly focused on the consumer, uber collaborative, creative, and passionate about building brands that consumers love.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this role successfully, candidates should possess a combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, creativity, event planning and executional excellence.
Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution
Create and execute annual marketing plans across retail, digital, social media, PR, and eCommerce.
Translate consumer insights into sharp brand positioning and creative campaign briefs.
Manage the marketing budget and tracking performance metrics to ensure a strong return on investment (ROI).
Experiential Marketing & Events
Own the strategy for festivals, third-party event partnerships, and owned brewery events.
Establish success metrics and spending priorities for all consumer-facing experiences.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales teams to build promotional tools, displays, and presentations that respect the 3-tier alcohol distribution system.
Collaborate with Finance, Production, Innovation, and Taproom teams to launch new projects smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications (MBA is a plus).
4-6 years of progressive brand marketing experience.
Experience leading others / leading teams.
Proven track record in event planning, managing marketing budgets, leading cross-functional projects, and analyzing business metrics.
Background in the beverage alcohol industry with experience working in the 3-tier system preferred.
Experience in hospitality, taproom, or destination retail marketing preferred.
Experience launching new products or managing creative agencies preferred.
Compensation:
  • Salary Range: $85,000-$105,000 yearly.
