Job description

Job Purpose:

Ensure that the product complies with customer specifications, as well as legal and applicable requirements.

1.     Requirements:

Minimum education required:

Indistinct Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years


2.     Profile


·        Experience in the quality area of metalworking companies.

·        Experience in the implementation of quality systems.

·        Ability to negotiate with raw material suppliers according to their technical specifications for tube manufacturing.

3.     Responsibilities

·        Design the quality system according to the applicable standards required by the market and maintain its operation.

·        Stop production processes if they produce products outside the specifications required by customers.

·        Report to management on the performance of the quality system.

·        Assign, under supervision, specific functions to personnel to achieve the company's quality objectives.

·        Follow up on and resolve customer complaints.

·        Authorize and control degraded material.

·        Follow up on requested product tests.

4.     Activities

·        Inspect and evaluate products according to specifications or as requested by the customer.

·        Request repair and/or replacement of metallurgical, chemical, and metrology laboratory equipment to ensure equipment efficiency and performance.

·        Support the purchasing system and supplier evaluation.

·        Handle customer complaints.

·        Conduct analysis and improvement plans to resolve detected errors.

·        Implement corrective and preventive actions for product quality issues.

·        Verify that measuring equipment is calibrated and in operational condition.

·        Review all procedures in operational areas and advise on process control and critical variables as required.

5.     Skills

·        Advise on types of materials as required.

·        Ability to negotiate with raw material suppliers according to technical specifications.

·        Analytical skills to evaluate products according to technical specifications.

·        Leadership skills to manage staff under supervision.
