Job description

New London Specialty Care, a 46-bed long-term care skilled nursing community located in New London, IA, is now hiring!
Business Office Manager
Schedule/Shifts Available: Full-Time-Days

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident trust accounts, and collection activities.
  • Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance billing, and other reimbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain resident financial records and personnel documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and support month-end business office functions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Business Office Manager, healthcare billing, accounting, or administrative leadership role preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance billing, accounts payable, and collections.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, financial software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
