THE ROLE
Avocado is currently looking for Summer Interns to be part of Avocado.
  • Project Support: Assist in the execution of special project assigned by your internship sponsor
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct market research or data analysis to help the team make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Administrative Flow: Help streamline internal processes, manage documentation, and participate in team brainstorming sessions.
  • Presentation: Prepare a final presentation to be delivered to leadership at the end of the internship.

*Note on Location: Here at Avocado Green Brands, we treasure teamwork and working together in person. Depending on the role, you will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations / Retail location / Remote.
*Note on Pay Transparency:. The pay range for this role is $20 per hour
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
In this role, you won't just be a spectator; you will be an active contributor. Your summer will be defined by three core pillars:
  • Real-World Projects: You will be assigned to a core team where you'll contribute to "live" projects. Whether it's helping launch a new initiative, optimizing a recurring process, or assisting with client deliverables, your work will have a clear, measurable impact.
  • Data & Research: You will help our team stay informed by gathering data, conducting market/industry research, and synthesizing your findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Operational Support: You'll learn the "how" behind our business by supporting daily operations. This includes attending strategy meetings, assisting with documentation, and helping the team meet critical deadlines.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in a related field with a solid academic record.
  • Digital Fluency: Comfortable navigating common workplace software like Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Experience with AI-powered tools or basic data visualization is a plus.
  • Prior Engagement: While previous office experience isn't required, we value candidates who have shown initiative through volunteer work, student organizations, part-time jobs, or personal projects.
  • Adaptability: A proven ability to learn new systems or processes quickly.
  • Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods while working at a desk or participating in meetings.
  • Constant operation of a computer, keyboard, and other office productivity machinery.
  • Frequently communicates with team members and stakeholders. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations via video calls, phone, or in person.
  • Specific vision abilities required include the ability to view a computer monitor for long durations and read printed or digital documents.
