Job description

Title: DevOps Test Automation Engineer

Location: Miami, FL (3 days onsite Monday, Tues, Wed)

Type: 8+months

Job discription

  • This is not a traditional QA role. It is an engineering role focused on DevOps, SRE, test automation, reliability, infrastructure validation, observability, and safe change delivery.
  • This person will build, enhance, and operate automated validation capabilities that test the full technology stack after patching, code releases, configuration updates, infrastructure changes, and platform deployments
  • You will embed automated post-deployment testing into CI/CD pipelines so teams get fast, reliable feedback after changes are deployed.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, test automation, systems engineering, cloud operations, platform engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Experience building automated validation for enterprise-scale or production environments.
  • Integrate automated smoke tests, health checks, service checks, API checks, infrastructure checks, and environment validation into Jenkins and other deployment workflows.
  • Create automation to verify Windows and Linux patching, AWS changes, Ansible automation, configuration updates, infrastructure-as-code deployments, and service dependency changes
  • Use Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Ansible, Jenkins pipelines, Selenium or equivalent frameworks, API testing tools, and custom harnesses to reduce manual testing.
  • AWS, DevOps, SRE, testing, automation, or cloud certifications are a plus.
