Join Go Rentals as a Vehicle Care Specialist (Detailer) in Wheeling, IL, and help deliver the quality and care our guests expect!Responsibilities
  • Clean vehicles inside and out to Go Standards (wash by hand, brush, or by operating washing equipment)
  • Polish, dry, and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats, and exterior body, by hand  
  • Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener, and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)  
  • May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies  
  • Assist with local auto deliveries and pick-ups
  • Deliver or pick up vehicles for maintenance onsite or off premises
  • Check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior guest data, check for guest items and place anything of value in Lost & Found, verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate, inspect the vehicle for any safety concerns
  • Fuel and stage vehicles  
  • May wash bay floors, empty trash, tidy bathrooms, vacuum, sweep the lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks
Required Skills
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license  
  • Must have one to two years of driving experience and be insurable  
  • Must be 21 years of age or older 
  • Auto detailing experience preferred
  • Must be able to speak and understand basic English sufficient to communicate effectively with management, team members, FBO and Hotel Partners, and leads, follow verbal and written instructions, and understand safety protocols.
PAY RANGES: Pay ranges may vary based on multiple factors, including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift covered, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel.
