Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with chronic pain complaints, meticulously reviewing their medical histories, performing detailed physical examinations, and utilizing pain scale tools to assess pain levels accurately.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with physicians and specialty providers to craft tailored pain management plans. This may involve medication management, patient referrals to physical therapy, and recommendations for interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and epidural injections.
  • Patient Education: Lead educational sessions to empower patients. Patients will learn about their conditions, various treatment methods, lifestyle modifications, and pain management techniques, fostering a sense of agency in managing their health.
  • Procedural Assistance: Assist in performing pain management procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices for patient safety and comfort. Techniques may include joint injections and other interventional pain modalities under the supervision of senior medical personnel.
  • Follow-up Care: Monitor patients’ progress through regular follow-up visits, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical assessments, feedback, and ongoing evaluations, thus guaranteeing continuity and consistency in care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
