Job description

The Framing Stager will organize and stage picture framing components to ensure orders are completed on time, prioritize the production of components, receive inventory, and package hardware to be included with shipments and/or client pick-up.

Primary duties/responsibilities:

  • Stage picture framing jobs for production, and verify job components are complete and correct including: art, acrylic, MDF, frames, stretchers, etc.
  • Prioritize the production of components as needed to ensure the final product is completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Framing Operations Manager on staging components and hardware for high volume jobs.
  • Routinely organize framing components to keep the production floor organized and walkways clear.
  • Package picture hanging and security hardware to accompany shipments and/or client pick-ups.
  • Receive, check-in, and organize incoming hardware & supply inventory, and coordinate with the Framing Operations Manager on restocking.
  • Receive, check-in, and label incoming mats & moulding inventory, and coordinate with the Assistant Production Manager to store inventory.

  • Work closely with Colorchrome’s Production Team, as an extension of the Sales Team, in order to deliver consistently high quality products and services to Colorchrome’s clients.
  • Seek opportunities to contribute in cross-departmental efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Able to perform in a high-volume environment with firm deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to anticipate and solve problems.

Full-time Position based in Norcross, GA- Monday through Friday with start time of 7:00am. Occasional overtime needed during peak production timeframes.
