Job Description
Business Development activities:
  • Responsible for in-depth development and management of market new Opportunities
  • Responsible for the management of strategic key accounts by developing and maintaining strategic plans across the areas.
  • Working closely with regional sales and engineering to develop innovative solutions for new applications and opportunities
  • Collaborate with regional sales team to categorize significance of major accounts
  • To develop and maintain a market landscape that include customers and applications for the assigned area(s)
  • To develop new opportunities by gathering a good understanding of customers' needs and challenges
  • Maintain up-to-date product and pricing information on primary competitors for the area/segment
  • Obtain information on market trends and identification of market forces affecting FGS products.
  • Recommends and/or drafts ads or points of emphasis based on market focus.
  • Assist regional sales team on technical presentations, tradeshows and customer sponsored events.
  • Keep tracking of sales leads & opportunities on CRM
  • Responsible for Business Unit contract negotiation, customers NDA's in the designated region

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Material Science or Industrial Technology or Business Administration or any equivalent University technical degree)
  • 10 years of Oil and Gas sales management experience.
  • Experience managing independent representatives and distributors.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office.
  • Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills to include the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment.
  • Significant domestic travel is required.
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Valid US drivers license and safe driving history.

The following are preferred:
  • Technical knowledge and / or experience with FRP composites and or Thermoplastic lined FRP composites used in industrial applications.
  • MBA or Military Officer experience.
