Position Objective:

The Nuclear Sales Applications Lead is responsible for building relationships and providing strategic direction to help the Company grow and be profitable within the nuclear segment. The focus is building mutually respectful relationships both internally, with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Inside Sales, and R&D, and externally with our Channel partners, A&E firms and End Users in order to support achievement of the Company goals. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing sales plans designed to increase existing business and capture new business in the nuclear segment.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute profitable sales growth within the Channel partner and Direct sales category.
  • Create demand at end users and engineering firms through high touch specification activity via the Channel partner network.
  • Build solid relationships with Channel partners, End Use Customers, A&E firms in order to drive specifications of our product range.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Company offering in order to identify profitable business opportunities.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the end users within the nuclear segment.
  • Direct Marketing efforts by identifying key market initiatives to broaden the reach of our Brand and value proposition.
  • Support and Provide the Sales Network with the tools and resources they need to achieve their territory revenue goals..
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Product Management for business development and selling strategies
  • Work with all Channel partners to drive focus on the chosen market segment and become the SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the nuclear segment especially on application know-how.
  • Be an ACTIVE member of the relevant industry associations to increase visibility of our brand and technical expertise.
  • Work hand in hand with sales and product management to drive product and sales differentiation with our existing or improved product line.
  • Drive constant communication between all the stakeholders of a given end user or territory to ensure we are fully aligned as a business unit and have ‘one face’ to our customers, locally, regionally and globally if applicable.

  2. Minimum 7-10 years of Sales experience in a technically oriented sales environment in the nuclear industry;
  3. Experience in a multi-channel sales strategy;
  4. Negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills;
  5. Technical sales background in nuclear;
  6. Sales process skills including use of salesforce.com as a supporting technology;
  7. Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
