Asset Management Analyst

Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: New York, NY
Work Setup: On-site
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Analyst to support ongoing IT Asset Management operations and State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining accurate IT asset records, validating hardware inventories, improving asset management processes, and supporting enterprise technology lifecycle programs.
Asset Management Analyst Responsibilities
  • Analyze and maintain IT asset data, ensuring accurate and complete records within ServiceNow.
  • Validate and reconcile hardware inventories across multiple locations.
  • Track computer-related assets throughout the full IT asset lifecycle, including deployment, inventory, recovery, and disposition activities.
  • Support multiple State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives and large-scale hardware deployment and recovery efforts.
  • Review and improve existing IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Research new hardware models, device standards, and part specifications.
  • Generate scheduled reports supporting compliance requirements, audits, inventory controls, and executive oversight.
  • Coordinate with IT field teams, technical stakeholders, and end users to resolve asset discrepancies.
  • Assist with implementing new asset management tools, systems, and ServiceNow modules.

Asset Management Analyst Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate asset and inventory data.
  • Experience with IT asset tracking, hardware inventory management, lifecycle management, or inventory reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and data-management skills.
  • Ability to support large-scale IT deployment and asset recovery initiatives.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams and end users.

Asset Management Analyst Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ServiceNow, particularly asset management functionality, or comparable enterprise ITAM platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise hardware lifecycle management and asset databases.
  • Familiarity with compliance reporting, audits, inventory reconciliation, and IT asset controls.

The Asset Management Analyst will play an important role in strengthening asset data integrity, supporting technology lifecycle initiatives, and improving IT Asset Management operations across the organization.
