Job description

We are looking for a motivated Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help grow our program by leading our new property and global expansion efforts. With broadcast agreements around the world including the NFL's Thursday Night Football in the US, the NHL in Canada and Champions League soccer tournaments in the UK and EU, Prime Video is delivering the future of Live Sports to our customers.

Advertising is a crucial part of our success in Live Sports. We are endeavoring to build a world-class live sports ad program that benefits our customers, advertisers and league partners with unique, never-been-done-before ad experiences.
Live sports on Amazon will allow customers to watch events on any device, including televisions, and across multiple distribution channels including Prime Video, Twitch and other first-party streaming apps.

This capability opens up new opportunities for advertising to customers that is more relevant and customized than they get from traditional broadcast television while improving impact for advertisers. In this role, you will own the global expansion and onboarding roadmap for our live streaming advertising products. You will partner with a wide range of engineering and UX teams across Amazon Advertising and Prime Video to elevate our ad business.

You will have the opportunity to deeply understand our playback, ad insertion, ad serving, measurement and campaign management technology stacks and influence the technical path we follow for our program. You will partner with the Live Advertising product and Prime Video Advertising teams to prioritize our roadmap for maximum business impact.
Key job responsibilities
- Track Prime Video's global property rights acquisition
- Establish the roadmap of technical expansion to new regions, countries and properties
- Coordinate the development timelines across several large engineering organizations to deliver on strict timelines
- Act as mentor and role model for other members of the team
- Interface with finance to roll up team budgets and resource requests
- Work with cross functional product leaders to drive execution of an ambitious roadmap
- Be the voice of the team across multiple layers of the organization and drive multi-year planning activities
- Manage executive communications, preparing documents, scheduling debriefs and ensuring a cohesive message
A day in the life
You will work with a program manager partner in our team to mechanize the tracking of new rights packages Prime Video is considering acquiring.

You will coordinate across Prime Video, Live Events and Advertising infrastructure technology teams on prioritizing the technical work required to onboard new properties including driving for automation and expansion of ad innovations. You will establish mechanisms for driving completion of all aspects of the various development roadmaps, sharing progress with leaders across Amazon and escalating where required to ensure we deliver the best outcomes for viewers, advertisers and our business.
About the team
We are the Advertising in Live Events team and our mission is to build the most advanced Live Event advertising offering for brands to reach viewers in the most relevant and least disruptive way possible.

We aim to bring digital advertising capabilities to a traditionally linear advertising space and to make advertising in live sports available to all advertisers.
