Event Supervisor - Part time
Hours: will vary based on events
Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour
BASIC FUNCTION
Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking to hire an Event SupervisorThe Event Supervisor is responsible for all administrative responsibilities for the Event Shift. To ensure the cleanliness of the facility and ensure maximum service and quality standards are achieved.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Event Supervisor reports to the Site Manager and receives their work assignments and supervision from same.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
  • Organize, plan, schedule and execute cleaning operations for Event Shift.
  • Reports to site at least one hour prior to staff report time.
  • Ensure all supplies, equipment and labor are available to complete assigned tasks.
  • Assigns Team Leaders to set-up equipment prior to start time and that equipment is properly stored at the end of the shift.
  • Checks in Event Staff and makes sure staffing meets required level.
  • Inspects staff prior to start time to assure compliance with appearance standards.
  • Deploys Event Staff to assure all event areas open are properly staffed and maintained in clean and safe condition.
  • Directs Event Staff and responds to needs of the facility and guests.
  • Constantly walks facility during the event to inspect cleaning staff and service meets performance, quality and safety standards.
  • Checks out Event Staff at the end of shift.
  • Stays on site until relieved by Post Event Manager.
  • Schedules Event Staff for up-coming events and communicates work schedules to Event Staff
  • Maintains records for Event Shift including staff deployment form, sign-in/sign-out forms, equipment allocation, labor reports, time cards, inspection reports, team work schedules and safety reports.
  • Provide employee training and communicate company/client policies.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Responsible for human resources concerns during Event Shift which include assisting Office Assistant and Site Manager with hiring, interviewing, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions and payroll concerns.
  • Will attend facility event planning meetings as directed.
  • Report maintenance and safety concerns immediately
  • Reports all accidents and injuries or incident immediately
  • Completes all other duties and service requests as assigned by Site Manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
  • Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
  • Reliable Transportation.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Supervising experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
